Bella Bombs: It's my birthday!!

This birthday thing is pretty cool.  At first, I didn't know what my crazy parents were talking about this morning when they woke up singing this song and excitedly saying, "Happy Birthday, Bella!!!"   Sometimes my parents do odd things, so I usually just try to go with it.

BUT, then my mom started putting this on my head:

It ended up being okay after she showed me how to wear it.

Then I got to take it off!! Thank goodness! 

 Then I got a present!!! I really like gifts - especially when it involves a bone and swimming!!

I got to spend this thing called "a birthday" hanging out in the backyard, chasing the sprinkler, playing in my pool, and chewing on my new bone.  My parents rock. When do I get one of these again?

Happy 1 year Anniversary!

Dear Husband:

We have been married for 365 days.  Can you believe it?!  The past year has been the best year I could have asked for.  We have had so many changes - getting married, Bella joined our family, bought a house, I became a teacher, started Foundation Group, and recently we finally booked our real honeymoon that fulfills more than one dream!!

My favorite part of the day is when I hear you singing while you get ready for work.  You are such a happy person.  I cherish our Saturday mornings at Einstein Bros and the nights we just get to hang out together uninterrupted.  I'm thankful for your strength, love, and desire to pursue God's heart.

I can't wait to see what the future holds for us - I love you!

This morning my Mom didn't even greet me. She just looked at me really mean and said something, then walked out the door.  Then I remembered this....

Happy Birthday to the Cutest Nephew!

This weekend, we had the privilege of celebrating our nephew's 7th birthday!!  He came to stay with us Friday night and we went to Six Flags Saturday.  What better way to spend your birthday than climbing trees, building forts in Uncle Nate's work out room, and riding awesome roller coasters like the Mine Train and Roaring Rapids?
